Sharron 28th April 2020

Dearest Angela, I can’t believe I will never see your gorgeous smiling face again. I feel so lucky to have had you in our lives and I’m so incredibly grateful that we our paths came together through our lovely boys at GX school and our friendship was cemented. This asks us for our thoughts...there are so many...Sole Mates is where it began and the London Vitality 10k! We did it and then set our sights a bit higher and so we sweated our way around the Windsor Trail Half - I laugh as I write this as you said ‘never again’; it was so hot that day and I think we were all a bit delirious at the end! So many runs we did and oh my you were fast whether that be running or cycling. We all laughed together as Jacqui very aptly gave you the title of ‘mountain goat’ as you easily conquered those Chiltern Hills. Fun times - in abundance. Family holidays in France canoeing and the time our canoe filled with water and we were rescued by a handsome local! Dancing round the island in my kitchen during our cocktail nights; Sorbet D’amour where you were on a mission to try all 33 flavours which the kids loved as it meant we were regulars! Sporting events with the boys in all weathers! Our annual GX Ceilidh where who’d have thought we’d be the youngest there, and you sure just loved to dance with Alan twirling you around the dance floor. So many thoughts, memories, words...a caring, listening ear always, never passing judgement but just listening. Smart, thoughtful, kind, loyal and so much fun! You could light up a room with your infectious smile and laughter. I shall miss you and I hope that wherever you are now my dear friend, you’re dancing. Love always, Sharron, Mark, Isobel, Freya, Luke and Jonah.
